The ewes are permanently in the farmyard now. The lambing shed is all cleaned, disinfected, and ready to go.
I have a couple of mothering up pens set up - one with an infra-red lamp, just in case.
(It has been used once in the last 7 years!)
The CCTV cameras are
beaming images back to
the house so that I can
keep an eye on everyone
around the clock.
My first lambs are due
6th March, and a couple
of the ewes are
‘bagging up’ already.
